Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine – a vaccine against a very dangerous disease

Japanese Encephalitis (JE), caused by a flavivirus, is a potentially severe arboviral disease occurring throughout south-central, southeastern, and eastern Asia and parts of the Western Pacific and is transmitted via the bite of infected mosquitoes (mainly Culex species).
